Dear Mr. and Mrs. Selph I would like to take this opportunity to thank you both for the generous gift that your family has provided for the benefit of injured Regional Duty Officer Amber Pitman. Your unselfishness to help Amber in her time of need is heartfelt. I would like to express my sympathy and condolences on behalf of the Florida Highway Patrol for the loss of your loved one. I realize that this gift was sacrificial and emotional for you both, as this equipment was provided after your daughter’s recent passing. Trooper Brian Speigner and Duty Officer Supervisor Mike Jenkins were quite expressive in their appreciation of your gift as well. How very thoughtful of you both to make this possible for Duty Officer Pitman.
