WIMAUMA - Florida Highway Patrol troopers responding to a call of a car in a ditch Tuesday found a man inside who had been dead several days, an official said.
Few details were available Tuesday night. Patrol spokesman Lt. Sterling King said the troopers responded to the car near County Road 579 and State Road 674 about 4:35 p.m. The man had not been identified Tuesday evening, and the car appeared to have been abandoned, King said.
