Tampa man arrested after alleged road rage incident

A Tampa man is in jail after an alleged road rage incident.

The Florida Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Ronald Favorite cut off another motorist on I-4 near McIntosh Road Thursday. The other driver swerved to avoid a collision.

Then, officials say Favorite made a hand gesture to that driver, as if he was firing a gun, and followed the other car closely. That man got scared and dialed *FHP on his cell phone and stayed on the line until a trooper came to his rescue.

Favorite faces two charges: habitual driving with a suspended license and operating an unregistered vehicle. He is being held on a $2,250 bond.
