Spokesman Named For FHP's Troop C

Trooper Larry E. Coggins Jr. has been named spokesman of Florida Highway Patrol's Troop C, which includes Polk County.

Coggins, 32, has worked in the Lakeland district for 10 years.

He will be responsible for media relations and traffic safety education programs throughout the seven counties in Troop C.

Coggins is replacing Capt. Sterling King, who was promoted and transferred to Miami earlier this year.
