Florosa YMCA (May 28, 2003) - some enjoyed watching - others couldn't!
Fort Walton Beach High School on February 4, 2003. Over 1100 students participated.
Trooper Reggie Edwards, Occupant Protection Specialist for Troop C in Tampa, stands ready for some action...rollover action, that is. Trooper Edwards uses the rollover simulator to show kids and adults what happens to occupants in a rollover crash when they don't wear seat belts. Troopers from Alabama, Florida, and Georgia (standing in front of our brand new roll-over simulator) come together for the annual Hands Across the Border on U.S. 231 in Jackson County. Lt. Tommy Moore, PAO from Troop A, demonstrates the roll-over simulator's ability to eject any dummy who doesn't buckle up. The children from Dayspring Christian Academy in Mariana get a first hand look at what happens when you don't wear you seat belt.
Lt. John Bagnardi demonstrates one of FHP's rollover simulators for a group of pre-teens at a Broward community event. Trooper Charlotte Thompson shows a bunch of kids the dangers of not wearing a seat belt-- while encouraging them to get their parents to buckle up too!
Vince & Larry remind motorists, "Don't be a dummy...buckle up!" Region I receives a brand new rollover simulator (that makes 3 for FHP) from IPTM & Buckle Up Florida.
A gathering of state workers witness what happens when occupants (in this case, dummies) are not restrained in the vehicle. Trooper Lissa Udell shows this eager group of Lantana kids and parents why it is important to wear a seat belt...every time, every ride! FHP demonstrates the rollover at the Capitol in Tallahassee...see what can happen if you are not buckled up! Trooper Kim Miller uses FHP's rollover simulator to demonstrate the critical need for seat belt restraint use for all occupants in the vehicle at all times.
