Dear Florida FHP,
I was recently traveling to a job site in Washington County from the Orlando area and was pulled over for speeding by Trooper J.R. Love (ID # 1617, Troop H) in Leon County.
Although no one likes getting pulled over (even though it is our own fault), Trooper Love was so professional, kind and considerate that he made an otherwise unpleasant situation into a pleasant situation due to his positive, caring, kind and professional attitude.
Please pass along to his supervisor what a superior trooper J. R. Love was and commend him for the graciousness and professionalism he shows to people when he pulls them over (even though we are guilty of speeding, he was very kind).
Pass along my “thank you” to Trooper Love also for his kind attitude that day. Even though I got a ticket (which I deserved), his demeanor and kindness actually made the situation not so bad – Thank you, Trooper Love!
His positive bearing and good attitude is a commendable trait that we could all learn from.
Please pass my gratitude along to him.
P.S. Please let him know I did the speed limit the rest of the way to Chipley!
