July 7th of this year I had car failure on 275, before getting on the Howard Franklin towards Tampa . I believe it was around mile marker 32 if I remember correctly. Jason Lim pulled up after the road ranger left. He was so kind, courteous, and helpful. I was very upset to say the least prior to talking to him. I live in Winter Haven, and had my friend with me, we had gone to the Dali museum for her birthday present.
He let us cool off in the back seat of his car until I got a tow truck. He was respectful, and his calmness sure helped me. He explained what he did, how he loved his job, and that he might lose it due to cutbacks. I asked who his supervisors were, and I was told a Sgt. John Small, and his captain was Jacalyn Freeman. People are so easy to call and complain about a public servant if the person does not meet their expectations. Jason Lim meet and exceeded any expectations that I ever had of a highway patrol person. I am not sure what type of kudos you can give, but I hope that he gets some. Please acknowledge him and his efforts.
