To whom it may concern:
On Monday, July 5, I was travelling southbound on I-95 about 30 miles north of Titusville. Unfortunately, we had significant car trouble, and was unable to continue. We used the call box signal, but since we were not sure that it was operational, I called the assistance number in the Owners Manual of my car. Through the assistance number I was able to get a tow truck ordered to tow the vehicle to a nearby dealer.
Meanwhile, Officer Henderson (Hendersen?) arrived on the scene, and after assessing the situation, and seeing that I was travelling with my girlfriend and two teenaged girls, stayed with us to ensure that the tow truck could accommodate four passengers.
When the tow truck arrived it could only accommodate two, so Officer Hendersen escorted two of the passengers to a nearby place of safety. Had he not stayed, two people would have been left standing on the side of the highway for several hours.
I wanted to pass on the professional and caring manner in which Officer Henderson went above and beyond to ensure our safety. It is greatly appreciated.
