On July 2, 2009 my vehicle was impacted by another driver, causing a multiple-car accident in Pensacola. The trooper who came to the scene was TPR R.H. Williams. He was the epitome of professionalism. While performing his duties he remained personable, courteous, caring, while maintaining situational awareness for the sake of the victims' safety.
Since my vehicle received the brunt of the forces, it needed to be towed to the shop. Although I had already arranged for a tow through my insurance company, he, nevertheless, called the body shop to make sure a tow truck had been dispatched.
Once I was in the tow truck with the driver, on the way to the body shop, I remarked about TRP William's demeanor and professionalism. The driver said that in his line of work he had met most of them and he agreed that this trooper is among the very best.
TRP Williams is a credit to the Florida Highway Patrol and to the law enforcement community as a whole. Please pass on my compliments to him and his supervisors for a job well done. A lousy day was lightened by his dedication to duty.
