Dear Sir or Madam,
On the 21st of April about noon on the Overseas Highway on Big Pine Key another driver badly crashed in the rear of our car. Completely shocked we stayed in the vehicle, convinced that this must be the sudden and sad end of our vacation. Only a few minutes later a trooper (whose name unfortunately I don’t know) came to us and asked, if we were alright.
Later Trooper Daniel Schlosser arrived.
Both dealt extremely friendly and very patient with the two parties of European tourists knocking each other over on the Florida Keys. Quickly they called an ambulance (fortunately it turned out that nobody was severely injured), a towing truck and a taxi and provided us with everything we needed to continue with our plans only a few hours later.
After their departure, I had the feeling that I hadn’t given an appropriate sign of my appreciation. I would really like to catch up on
this: Thank you, Trooper (whose name I don’t know), for giving us a safe an sheltered feeling and Thank you, Trooper Daniel Schlosser, for cheering us up.
Could you please forward this message to them?
Faithfully
