Dear Sir:

I wanted to take the time to let your office know that the matter I contacted you about in July has been resolved through the attention of Major Grady Carrick and his staff.

It was extremely refreshing to find someone in your department to assist with the problems I was experiencing per my letter to you. I can not say enough good about Major Grady Carrick and his prompt response to my concerns. He was prompt, courteous and above board in all correspondence concerning the matter. During the time he was checking into the concerns, he kept me advised and worked very hard to resolve the issues. I felt like at times he went beyond what he had to do, due to his professional demeanor. He really restored my faith in the Florida Highway Patrol and it's operation.

While I did not get everything I had hoped for which was inclusion on the system rotation, I feel when everything is said and done within procedure we will be afforded the opportunity to be of assistance to the many fine officers that are patrolling our streets and highways and the public traveling these roads.

When the time is right, I feel we will get this opportunity especially with the faith I now have in Major Carrick and his staff.
