To whom it may concern,
On this night of the 18th day of July 2007 I Andrew M. Cobb participated in a ride
along with Trooper John Sessa in the Pasco county zone of Troop C. I am a recruit -of the Law Enforcement Academy for Hillsborough Community College in Ybor City -Florida. Trooper Sessa has shown me a level of professionalism that I have never -observed before. In my eight hours with Trooper Sessa I observed the highest level -of integrity, pride, courtesy, and professionalism ever displayed by a law -enforcement officer. I was able to make the certain determination and decision in knowing I want to work as a Florida Highway Patrol Trooper someday. I know -beyond any reasonable doubt that Trooper Sessa is a mentor to me, as I hope that -someday I will be able to show the level of courtesy and integrity that he does. He is by far a textbook officer.
I would like to thank the Florida Highway Patrol for giving me the chance to meet
such a person and giving me the chance to spend quality time observing him. He -was very informative in questions that I had about the job. I would also like to say that -I am proud this agency employs such quality officers. I am going to do my best to follow in Trooper Sessa's footsteps and try to become a State Trooper with as many -qualities as he has. I have a level of appreciation that cant be said in words for this -Trooper and recommend that he be nominated for any and all recognitions he is eligible for. I also look forward to doing another ride along with him in the near future.
