I just wanted to write and let you know how grateful I am that Corp. Deweese was on the scene. I had received a call from my wife that a little old lady had a flat tire outside of our community. I went to the scene and started to change the tire for this woman. I was about half way through when corporal Deweese came on the scene. He asked if everything was alright and I told him that I was almost finished. He said he would direct traffic away from where I was changing the tire. I removed the flat tire and was reaching for the spare when the car fell off of the jack and pinned both of my feet under the car. When corporal Deweese heard my screaming he came running and all I could think to myself was how long it would take to crank down the jack and re-jack the car off of my feet. Much to my surprise corporal Deweese bent down next to me and grabbed the bumper of the car a physically lifted the car high enough off of the ground that I was able to remove myself from under the car. His quick thinking probably limited the amount of damage that was done to my feet. I can’t thank him enough. That was about two months ago and I am now walking without assistance.
Thank you again corporal Deewese
