On the evening of February 4th, about 10:30pm, a woman with two infant sons had a flat tire near the Pulaski/St.Augustine exit on Route 95, southbound. I had been alerted via cell phone of the trouble that this woman, a sister of my daughter in law, was in and came upon her but did not have the ability/wherewithall to change the tire - age 72. In a few moments, this young officer - Anthony was his first name - came to the rescue.

He not only showed his lights to slow/direct traffic but assisted in the changing of the tire so the woman and sons could be back on their way toward Orlando.

I am writing to thank Anthony for his willingness to be of assistance. It makes me feel good to know the members of the Florida Highway Patrol are out there to assist the public not just issue summons.

Not sure what the outcome of this situation would have been had Anthony not responded to the call. Thanks Anthony
