Dear Pat,

Last weekend Ron and I were traveling on the turnpike on they way to visit Ben and Francesca. We got a blow out in a very dangerous spot between Ft. Pierce rest stop and Ft Drum rest stop. AAA never showed. A trooper named Johnson (Johnston?), a young man, handsome, brown hair, stopped and insisted on changing our tire, as it was a dangerous spot and the tire was on the driver's side, too close to the road, with a guard rail preventing us from getting further off the road. He didn't want Ron to chance it. Ron asked if he knew you. He said, yes. I just wanted to pass it on to you how great this young man was. If you can find out his whole name and pass it on to his superior, I would appreciate it. In my whole life, I have never witnessed a trooper changing a tire. I have only seen a trooper re-directing traffic while a motorist changed a tire. This was refreshing to witness. We thanked him, but I would like him to get a pat on the back form someone in the force.

Stay well, carol
