FHP Home

It's been a long tough week as we all recover from Hurricane Wilma.

This morning I was reminded that FISH is still alive and well.

Heading to work this morning, I left my house with a cold, feeling pretty lousy, and not looking forward to another long day in a crowded noisy store dealing with weary, impatient and often cantankerous members. I drove up to the intersection of Southgate and University in Coral Springs which is still without working traffic lights. In the middle of the intersection was a FHP officer directing traffic. We've hopefully all seen pictures of the New York police directing traffic in New York City doing their dances, well, this FHP officer was doing just that as he directed rush hour traffic. Waiting for my turn to cross the intersection I watched this officer and I had to smile.

It may take a while to get everything back to normal, but we are getting there. In the meantime, remember The Fish Philosophy:

Choose your attitude!
Have fun!
Smile!
Make their day!

My sincerest thanks to the FHP officer in the intersection for making my day!!

Everyone, have a great day!
