Just wanted to sent a note in reference to Trooper Kenneth Williams for his kindness and professionalism a few weeks ago off the East - West Expressway 408 in Orlando(sorry for the delayed response, I've been trying to figure out the appropriate venue to thank him). My car became disabled and I was stranded about 5 miles from the nearest gas station. I have owned a cell phone for years especially since I travel alone often, but on this particular day I left it at home.
Sitting in the hot car with traffic inches away I said a prayer that I would be safe and get out of this situation soon. Within minutes Trooper Williams pulled up beside my car and asked if I needed assistance...an answer, literally, to my prayers! He was very helpful and friendly although I can only imagine what Troopers face each time they do something as seemingly simple as that. I know many would say that he was just doing his job. On that day, in that heat, near that traffic, without a phone he was a rescuer and I can't begin to let him know how much I appreciate that.
