I know that people are quick to pickup the telephone or to write a letter and file a complaint when they feel that they have not been treated the way they think they should have. But not as quick to say Thank You!
On September 1st I was returning home after being deployed to Sarasota to work disaster relief after hurricane charley. I ran over something that had fallen off a truck on I-75 causing a flat tire to my car. Being from north Florida I had no phone numbers so I called *FHP, got in touch with the radio operator for a service truck to be sent, instead I got a trooper. I think that is the only time I have ever been glad to see a patrol car pull up behind me with blue lights flashing.
I would like to say a special thank you to Trooper Morris, Badge #1414 who responded and changed the tire on my car. Weather conditions were very hot that morning. He also gave me directions where I could get a replacement tire so I could get home. I am sorry to say I did not get the radio operators name who was also nice on the phone and prompt in sending the trooper. I have work with the public for 18 years and know what dedication it takes. Keep up the good work. Thanks again.
