To Whom it May Concern,
This letter (email) is to acknowledge Trooper Bruce MacWhorter, who on Christmas Eve was on duty when I was heading over to my sister's home to enjoy dinner with my family and friends. My car broke down in the middle of a busy intersection, just north of US1 and SW 57th Av. in Miami. I had two little girls with me and it was dark and desolate. I was unable to move the car and proceeded to cross the street with the girls in tow. Within minutes, I saw police lights and a State Trooper circled the car and got out. Feeling safe and relieved, I approached Trooper MacWhorter and explained the situation. He assessed the situation, and commented that we needed to move the vehicle. I had already called AAA, and it would be hours before a tow truck would be available. Trooper MacWhorter took it upon himself to not only help us move the car and attempt to help start it, he even waited with us until my sister arrived and we were safe and out of harm's way.
I would just like to thank him for being there when we really, really needed him!
Trooper MacWhorter is a breath of fresh air!!!
Sincerely,
Mary Lee Gleinn
P.S. give the man a raise!!!
