Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to commend Officer Lopez who assisted me on November 29, 2004, on the turnpike.
I got on the turnpike in Kissemmee, Florida heading south at about 1230pm. About 3 miles from the entrance my car started wobbling and I had a blowout and my car's tire came off the car and was rolling in front of me. I was able to pull over to the side and thank God the car behind me was able to move around me and avoid hitting me in the rear. At that moment the traffic was light.
I have a tiny car and I started to take things out of my trunk to get to my spare tire. I took my manual out and started the process to change my tire. I had already called to see about a tow truck or someone to assist me.
Officer Lopez was driving by and stopped and changed my tire in about 2 minutes. An angel sent from God. He then assisted me to make a U turn on the turnpike and headed me back to Kissemmee where he said I must purchase a new tire. He said if I headed south there was no place to stop and purchase a new tire.
I just want to say that my 4 tires were brand new (3 months old) and I never expected that from new tires.
I want to thank him with all my heart.
