We had the unfortunate experience on I-10 on August 16th to have a trailer flat. I called on the highway callbox and officer Scotty Lolley showed up to met with my wife while I went into Quincy for tire repairs.
My previous experience and impression of FHP Troopers was, frankly, poor. My only association was to get ticketed, and friends had commented "if you meet a trooper you WILL get a ticket". My experience beared that out.
Tropper Lolley certainly changed that opinion. He could not have been more helpful or friendly. He sat with my wife until I returned, and then remained with us until repairs were complete and we were on our way. His conduct was highly professional yet friendly and courteous at the same time. He made an uncomfortable, hazardous situation a lot safer and we are forever indebted to him for his extra measure of kindness and assistance. I feel he went beyond his duty obligations to assist us.
I would think Trooper Lolley is the type of officer you'd like to see in management positions some day. In our opinion he represents the best in professional law enforcement.
