I think it's the best available use of resources I have seen the FHP use in a long time. I have wanted to "see" the usage of un-marked vehicles by law enforcement for years and I am so-o-o very happy to have read your internet article about it. PLEASE bring it to Brevard County soon!!!! I can be just as guilty as the next driver when following behind a slower driver in the left passing lane; however, there are times each and everyday when I feel as if I'm about to get runover by a faster car that tailgates me pressuring me to get out of their way, even in heavy traffic when you just can't move over. I am a very strong advocate of the use of un-marked police vehicles for traffic law enforcement. I know they work because when the word gets around people are less likely to break traffic laws. People naturally slow down when they observe a marked cruiser, then speed-up again after passing; but, when they don't know Smokey is watching from a "plain wrapper" then they have a tendency to drive better. Please, please, please keep up the great efforts you are pursuing, and thank you for all of your attempts to keep me and my family safe.
Very truly yours,
