To Whom It May Concern:
I wish to make you aware of my appreciation of the actions and assistance of Trooper George E. Campbell, ID #1279. On the night of Friday, January 16, 2004, I was driving north on I-95 when I had a severe blowout. I narrowly avoided hitting two cars and wound up coming to a halt on the left shoulder of the road, near a boundary wall. I was pretty shaken up and was trying to get myself together to call AAA when Trooper Campbell arrived on the scene. He was very polite and friendly, and immediately asked if I was alright and if I was injured. I told him I wasn't, and he reassured me that everything was going to be fine and we'd take care of the problem in no time. He examined the car and the tire, and then helped me to get my spare tire out of the car and actually changed it for me! When we learned that the spare was too low and needed air, he took the tire and went up the road to a gas station to fill it with air for me, then returned and put it on my car. At all times he was courteous, professional, reassuring, and polite. He was a godsend and I greatly appreciate him taking the time to help me with my predicament that night. His actions reflected well on both himself and the professionalism and good works of FHP.
