Florida Highway Patrol
Ref: Officer Rush
Dear Sirs:
On September 17, 2002, I had a flat tire on Highway 417, going West about 5:30 P.M., just approaching the Narcoossee overpass, just South of Orlando, Florida. I was on the approach where the shoulder gets narrow and could not pull off the road as far as I needed to change a tire on the left side of the car.
A few minutes after pulling over, Office Rush was East bound and noticed my car disable. She made a U-turn and pulled in behind my car with her flasher working and started to wave traffic to the other lane. She then called the Road Patrol and directed them to my location.
The Road Patrol showed up with in minutes and had my tire changed in 15 minutes, while Office Rush waved traffic to the left lane, making the tire change much safer.
Officer Rush and the Road Patrol, whose name I forgot to get, made a flat tire on a busy and fast moving traffic Highway 417, an almost pleasant experience. They are both kind and great employees. You should be proud of both employees. Please thank them for me.
I don't know how to get in touch with the Road Patrol, so if you can, please forward this to an official of the Road Patrol.
Respectfully,
Roger Koch
