Dear Colonel Knight:
On September 24, 25, and 26, I was lead instructor for a Threat and Risk Assessment for Weapons of Mass Destruction Class for the Bay County emergency responders. The class was held at the Troop A Headquarters Building in Panama City.
I want to take this opportunity to thank and commend Major Randall Brown and his staff for their support and gracious hospitality during the time the instructional staff and participants were at their facility. Major Brown took time from his schedule to make opening remarks and welcome the class to the facility. I appreciate his show of support and service to the class and local responders.
I want to especially thank Lt. Joseph Tucker for his assistance to the instructional staff and to the class participants. Lt. Tucker not only attended the class, he also ensured that the classroom was equipped and maintained for the adult learning environment. The facility was an excellent setting for the class, and the staff was very accommodating.
Again, I want to thank the Florida Highway Patrol and Troop A for their support in making this class successful for those responders that may one day be called upon to respond to a weapons of mass destruction incident. With warmest regards, I remain,
Bob Nations, Jr.
