Governor Charlie Crist signs the new DUI insurance bill
into law while Major Tom Knight watches.

Governor Charlie Crist recently signed a DUI Insurance bill into law that will require DUI offenders to carry a maximum amount of liability coverage for DUI crash victims. The ceremony held in Pinellas County was met with much enthusiasm by all in attendance, which included Major Tom Knight, Troop C Commander, and Bob Jacob, Director of the Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM). Many in the crowd opening showed their support of the new law, including numerous dignitaries and law enforcement officers from various agencies. Governor Crist continues his support and commitment toward making Florida's highways safer for us all.
