Last week, Sam's Wholesale Club in Sarasota donated $1,500 toward the purchase of FHP's newest member K-9 Kilo-thanks, in part, to Sergeant Dan Hinton, who was instrumental in obtaining the donation. In addition, Sam's donated $600 for the purchase of cordless drills for use by Troop F's C.I.P. team. Kevin Corbitt, Sam's local Loss Prevention Supervisor, was on hand to present the check to FHP.

To show the public what Kilo can do on the job, Trooper Jason Eason, Kilo's handler, and his felony partner, Trooper Mike Merritt, conducted a short presentation in front of Sam's Club employees. Troop F's C.I.P. team thanks Sam's Club for their support of FHP's K-9's!
