Sergeant Branham helps out her new buddy
at one of the Kids & Cops exhibits.

On Saturday, October 4th, members of FHP and recruits from the training academy joined other local law enforcement officers for a day of education and fun with children from group residential homes during the 4th Annual Kids & Cops Day held at the Pat Thomas law Enforcement Academy in Quincy.

Law enforcement officers and FHP Academy recruits were paired with children to be their Buddy for a Day. Officers and recruits enjoyed the company of their little buddies as they visited exhibit booths and watched safety demonstrations together. A cookout followed the activities.
