Major David McCarter, Jr. enters the Bradenton Station.

Major David McCarter is glad to be home and in command of Troop F. As a trooper assigned to the Naples and Bradenton districts in the 1980’s, Major McCarter became very familiar with this troop. He also worked as a sergeant and lieutenant in Troop F. After serving as the troop commander of Troop E - Miami-Dade for the last five years, Major McCarter is returning to Troop F as troop commander, setting new goals as he embarks on his new job. Now serving as the commander of the entire southwest portion of Florida, which is comprised of ten counties, he faces new challenges. Troop F welcomes Major McCarter back and the Florida Highway Patrol wishes him good luck in his move.
