Victim Advocate Gail Wint

The Florida Highway Patrol certainly has good reason to be proud of its many accomplishments in the areas of victims' rights and victims' services. Ms. Gail Wint began her career with the Florida Highway Patrol approximately twelve months ago. She has many years of independent research experience in the field of Behavior Pharmacology, Development Psychology, and Social Psychology; five years of management, recruiting interviewing, instructing, and counseling experience; ten years of medical experience, of which four years was working in a hospital Psychiatric Unit. Ms. Wint has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the State University of New Jersey and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science from Brooklyn College.

Troop L District Commander, Captain John Roberts and the hard working Troopers in his District are confident that the Florida Highway Patrol will continue to improve its current system of victims' services, and are looking forward in the years ahead with Ms. Wint. Major Miguel Guzman, Troop L's Troop Commander would like to express his deepest and sincerest appreciation to Ms. Wint for her commitment, dedication and hard work on behalf of the entire Troop and the crime victims. The daily contributions made by Ms. Wint cannot be overstated.
