Recently, Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary Trooper Bradley S. Feuer was appointed to the rank of Lt. Colonel. Major Miguel A. Guzman, Troop L Commander, conducted the appointment ceremony at Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida.

In the past two years, Lt. Colonel Feuer has been instrumental in implementing a troop surgeon program to serve during high risk tactical operations. Also, during numerous training exercises Lt. Colonel Feuer has evaluated individual trooper's health and safety measures by enhancing their knowledge of medical issues pertinent to their duty. Lt. Colonel Feuer is also a member of Troop L's Critical Incident Stress Debriefing team. As a Florida licensed physician, attorney, and risk manager he will be able to facilitate communications between FHP personnel and the medical community during any statewide disaster.
