FHP Training Academy

On June 22nd, the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Criminal Justice Professionalism Program conducted its audit of the FHP Academy. The results of the audit, which included a records and procedures check of all basic recruit, advanced, and trust-funded specialized training courses presented by the Academy during FY 2003/2004, found that all Academy training records and protocol were in perfect compliance with Florida Statutes and the Florida Administrative Code. Subsequently, the FHP Academy was recognized for this accomplishment during the August 4th Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission meeting in Coral Springs. FHP Academy Director, Chief Silvester Dawson, accepted the Meritorious Award on behalf of the FHP Academy. Congratulations to the Academy staff for a job well done!
