Executive Director Electra Bustle addresses parents and teens attending the event.

Recently, the Florida Highway Patrol joined forces with the Division of Driver Licenses to publicize information available to the parents of teenage drivers on the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles' website. Executive Director Electra Bustle, Colonel Christopher Knight, and Division of Driver Licenses Director Sandra Lambert traveled to Miami recently to bring home the messages to teenagers and their parents. The Patrol’s seat belt convincer and roll-over simulator were present to emphasize the importance of utilizing seatbelts. Parents can check the driving records of their teenage children as often as they would like, free of charge. Drivers were also encouraged to visit the web site and provide contact information in case of emergency.
