K-9 Jewels

A recent traffic stop by Troop C's Contraband Interdiction Program (CIP) member Trooper Jimmie Davis and his K-9 partner Jewels resulted in a significant drug arrest, a seized vehicle adding to FHP's list of forfeited assets, and the removal of two criminals from Florida’s highways. After stopping the driver of a late model Ford Expedition for illegal window tint, Jewels alerted to the rear of the vehicle, revealing about one hundred marijuana plants concealed in the cargo bay of the SUV. The driver and passenger were arrested and booked into the county jail without incident and the illegal plants were destroyed.
