The foursome also included Captain G.T. Brown. The group recently participated in a fundraiser golf tournament to benefit The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. Director Westberry was a last minute substitute for Lt. Colonel Ken Howes who usually represents the Florida Highway Patrol in this event. Apparently the substitution was enough to bring home the trophy. Word around Tallahassee is that Lt. Colonel Howes is looking for a new group. The FHP has a long standing reputation of always being represented in many fundraisers and support groups. This is just one example of the many events held statewide where the Florida Highway Patrol can be found among the usual suspects.
