Recently, members from Troop E - Miami participated in the South Florida Health and Fitness Expo, which was held at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Trooper Charlie Harris (Recruiter) and Trooper Mary Jackson (Occupant Protection Specialist) used the FHP Rollover Simulator and an FHP Harley-Davidson motorcycle to draw attendees to the FHP booth. The rollover simulator was used to demonstrate the dangers of not buckling up. DUI goggles were also used to show the effects produced by alcohol consumption. The annual event was free to the public and drew an estimated 50,000 people.
