On February 21, 2006, the Florida Highway Patrol joined forces with the Revvin' Right Campaign. The campaign, which was launched from Daytona Beach along the world famous boardwalk, was developed to educate drivers about aggressive driving and behaviors that lead to thousands of deaths annually.

Troop L's Public Affairs Officer, Lieutenant Tim Frith, Trooper Conya Bassett, Troop L's Occupant Protection Specialist, and FHPA James Porter provided information on the dangers of aggressive driving and exhibited the high-profile aggressive driving vehicles that are used by Troopers to apprehend reckless drivers. Trooper Bassett provided demonstrations with the Rollover Simulator.
