Colonel Knight presents the keys to
the command post to the FAMU Police Department.

Recently, in a ceremony in Tallahassee on the Florida A & M Campus, Colonel Chris Knight officially handed over the keys to Troop H's 1987 model command post to Chief Calvin Ross of the FAMU Police Department. FHP recently acquired a much needed, brand new state of the art command post, valued at $450,000, made possible through an appropriation from the 2004 Florida Legislature. The command post will be used primarily to respond to incidents and emergency situations in the north Florida region, but will be available for use wherever it is needed across the state.
