Lt. Pat Santangelo presents the first place trophy to

Atlantic High School in Delray Beach.

On Saturday, February 5th, Captain Luis Ramil and Lt. Pat Santangelo helped organize and participated in the Seventh Annual Black History Month Brain Bowl held at Old School Square in Delray Beach. Seven teams from area schools and churches competed in a Jeopardy-style tournament for valuable prizes including new computers. The competition is timed with Black History Month to offer young participants a chance to learn about black Americans.

Participating in this year's Brain Bowl were: Captain Luis Ramil, Troop L West Palm Beach District Commander, who asked Brain Bowl participants a variety of historical questions; Lt. Pat Santangelo, Troop K Public Affairs Officer, who also assisted at the event and serves as the Vice President of the Knights of Pythagoras Mentoring Network, the organization that sponsored the competition; and Trooper Dwight Walton, Troop L, who is a member of the Knight's Board of Directors.
