Teamwork between two troops and three districts helped troopers locate a missing juvenile for a Florida family. After reporting their child missing to the local authorities and fearing the worst, a Manatee County family contacted Bradenton District Trooper Jason Eason and explained their plight. Trooper Eason quickly contacted the Tampa Bay Regional Communications Center and advised that a missing child was possibly at an address within Troop C. Lakeland District Trooper Brett McCranie responded to a Lakeland address to learn that missing child was in Hillsborough County and was now aware that the FHP was looking for her. A quick call into the Tampa District and a fast response by Tampa District Sgt. Jessee Hinson and Trooper Nick Sottile located the missing child who was returned to her parents. Quick thinking and team work paid off – Good job to all!
