Side By Side We Will Survive,
We Are Recruit Class 125!

The members of the Florida Highway Patrol’s 125th Recruit Class will graduate on Sept.12, putting 77 new recruits on the road to help ease the work load for existing Troopers. This makes the largest graduating class from the Florida Highway Patrol Academy in 13 years! The 125th endured the extensive training of the accelerated 23 week schedule which was implemented in 2012. The recruit’s trained in the areas of firearms, vehicle operations, defensive tactics, first aid, as well as other law enforcement areas of academics.

During their time at the academy, the recruits have learned life lessons of integrity, ethics, honor, commitment, and sacrifice. During their Academy time, they assisting at Pyramid, an organization dedicated to developmental disabilities, gave blood, and honored those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Each new trooper learned how to be the kind of public servant that the residents and visitors of Florida deserve.

The members of the 125th are proud of their accomplishment and ready to embark on their new career. The graduation ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. at the Bradfordville First Baptist Church in Tallahassee.

Congratulations to the members of the 125th Recruit Class!
