We are Class 119

Apr. 18, 2010, the 119th Basic Recruit Class reported to begin their training at the Florida Highway Patrol Training Academy. On Aug. 27, 2010, they were joined by members of the Certified Recruit Class, which is comprised of law enforcement officers from other agencies who go through Agency Specified Training to become members of the Florida Highway Patrol. The Basic and Certified Recruits have now completed their training, and are eager to receive their diplomas and badges. The Recruits will graduate at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at the Tallahassee Antique Car Museum. They have each received their first assignments indicating where they will report for duty and where they will complete their ten additional weeks of field training before being released to solo patrol.

Congratulations to our newest members of the Florida Highway Patrol!
