Troopers from the Davie and Miami district participated in a fund raising event for former Trooper D. Scott Coley. Scott worked for the Florida Highway Patrol for 16 years in Troops L & K before going to the Federal Air Marshals. Scott is recovering from brain cancer surgery. The event raised over $18,000 for Scott’s recovery effort.

The event included a 1 mile run, raffle, silent auction, K-9 demonstration, the seat belt convincer and FHP’S 1940 Ford was on display.
