The Florida Highway Patrol and members of the Auxiliary participated in a safety fair hosted by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Advisory Council at the Regency Square Mall in Jacksonville. People attending the all-day event gathered safety education materials from booths set up inside the mall by a variety of safety organizations. Outside in the mall parking lot, the public was invited to attend a motorcycle & bicycle rodeo and a child safety seat check where free bike helmets, blood pressure checks, kid I.D. cards, child seats, and other items were made available.
