Major Mark Trammell presents Captain David Tripp with his diploma.
Captain David Tripp, Tallahassee Regional Communications Center Commander, recently graduated from the eleventh class of the Senior Leadership Program in Tallahassee. The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute, established within the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and affiliated with the State University System, was established in 1990 by the Florida Legislature to fulfill the need for innovative and multifaceted methods of educating and training our state's criminal justice professionals. Since the Executive Institute began 16 years ago, individuals representing agencies throughout the criminal justice community have completed leadership programs offered by the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute. The goal of this important 13 month Senior Leadership Program is to prepare lieutenants and captains in Florida's law enforcement community for the ever-changing demands of our state's criminal justice system. Captain Tripp and 23 other classmates studied current trends in law enforcement and gained knowledge of leadership skills that are crucial to meet the future challenges in Florida.
