I read about the above officer's accident on the Officer Down news website and would like you to know that Darryl is in my thoughts and prayers and I wish him a speedy recovery.

I would also be grateful if you could pass on my good wishes to Darryl's family and let them know that I will continue praying for his full recovery.

I wish you all a safe and happy 2006.

Many thanks

Florida Highway Patrol:

Just want all of you to know that I'm keeping Daryl Haywood Jr. in my prayers, and my deepest heartfelt condolences go out to his family! What a stroke of bad luck, first his Dad, and now him. Was the vehicle/owner who did this to him arrested?

I heard about Trooper Haywoods crash through a close friend who is a member of FHP. I would like Daryl and his family to know that all his brothers that wear the uniform are praying for his speedy and full recovery."I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME"(PHILIPPIANS 4:13)

I am a frequent visitor to your website and was saddened to learn about Trooper Haywood's accident. My prayer is that God will wrap His precious arms around this brave and courageous young man, and give him the strength and determination to overcome his injuries. I am praying for his family, especially his Mom to keep the faith and know that you are not alone. There are many out here who are praying for God's speed in your son's recovery. I was just on your website to find information on how to obtain an accident report when I came across the news on Officer Haywood's accident.

Being the wife of a trooper here in Wisconsin, I immediately felt a chill and sent my thoughts and prayers to Officer Haywood and his family.

May God care and watch over him.

As a firefighter/medical responder for Wakulla Co., Florida and a individual who grew up with the Florida Highway Patrol most of my life when my step- dad used work at troop D headquarters as a chief dispatcher.

My thoughts and prayers are for Darryl and his family. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

We just wanted to let Trooper Haywood know that we are praying for his recovery.

L/CPl and Mrs. Jonathan Jones, SCHP.

As a former Duty Officer at the Lake Worth Comm Center, I want to send my thoughts and prayers out to not only Trooper Haywood Jr and his family, but also the Duty Officer(s), DOS', Shift Commanders and all the other "behind-the-scenes" personnel who were involved in this incident. I remember the impact it had when something happened to one of the "family".

My thoughts and pray will remain with all of you and all of the other members of the 'family" throughout the state & country.

God Bless
