Celebrate Safely campaign in Duval County.

Celebrate Safely is a community-based safety campaign designed to raise public awareness about the dangers of impaired driving. The campaign involves several organizations and businesses including the Duval County Traffic Safety Team, TraumaOne at Shands Jacksonville, Jiffy Lube, the Northeast Florida Safety Council, MADD, the Florida Highway Patrol and other local law enforcement agencies, which have joined forces to help prevent the many holiday deaths and injuries caused by impaired drivers during the holiday season, and to promote the use of a sober designated driver. This community effort includes a designated driver program, a targeted enforcement effort, and a public education and awareness campaign--all designed to keep impaired drivers off our roadways and encourage motorists to celebrate safely during the holidays.
