Recently, Trooper Brian Davis stopped a 1993 Ford Crown Victoria traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, Trooper Davis conducted a walk around the exterior of the vehicle along with his K-9 partner, Chaos. Chaos alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics inside the vehicle. Trooper Rex Snow responded to assist Trooper Davis with the investigation. A subsequent search revealed approximately 18.5 pounds of cocaine concealed in a hidden compartment within the vehicle. The driver and passenger were arrested on various felony charges.
Thanks to the vigilance of Trooper Davis and Trooper Snow, a significant amount of cocaine was removed from our highways before reaching our communities – The FHP commends both of them for a job well done!
