The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute recently announced the graduation of 18 senior managers from the 37th Chief Executive Seminar in Tallahassee. Congratulations to Lt. Colonel John Czernis for being one of those graduates! The graduates of the Seminar represent criminal justice agencies from around the state. The goal of the Seminar is to prepare Florida’s criminal justice leaders for future’s challenging and changing demands. Class graduates studied the trends and events that criminal justice professionals will face in our state for many years to come.
The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute, established in 1990 within the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, is affiliated with the State University System. The Institute was established by the Florida Legislature who recognized the need for an innovative and multifaceted approach to the education and training of criminal justice professionals. Since the program began over thirteen years ago, more than seven hundred executives representing agencies throughout the criminal justice community have completed this specialized training.
