Trooper Richard A. Moore of the Bradenton District is a proud parent for work done by his daughter at the Manatee County History Fair. Trooper Moore's 10 year old daughter was recognized by the Entre Nous Service Club for her school project on the history of the Florida Highway Patrol. She is very proud of her father's profession and was inspired by the first
FHP Academy class which was held in her hometown of Bradenton over 64 years ago. Her project was carefully researched and assembled to be presented to the judges. The project received high honors and is now displayed in the front lobby of the Bradenton FHP Station. This project gives the public the fine history of the Florida Highway Patrol from a 10 year old's perspective.
